Songs of Christmas

Ayden came home from school singing Christmas carols today.

What could be better than listening to your 3 yr old belting out Christmas carols in his cute little voice??? That’s what I thought, nothing! I especially like it when he hears the words differently than the song intended. (Somehow along the way singing “Jingle Bells” the song easily switches over to “Old MacDonald Had a Farm”……Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Old MacDonald Had a Farm…Hey!)

His sweet voice brought me right into the holiday spirit.

Kids are in love with Christmas. They believe in its magic, even if they can’t fully understand what it is all about. Ayden thinks most swaddled babies could possibly be Baby Jesus.

Whether it is a toddler transfixed by glowing Christmas ornaments, a three year old climbing on Santa’s lap to whisper his biggest wish, or a small hand gently laying Baby Jesus in the Nativity scene, kids tingle with hope at Christmas time.

This Christmas, we hope each of you are sprinkled with lots of Christmas hope and joy!

It isn't just the three year olds...We 65 year olds feel it too. Their voice is MUCH cuter though!!!
