"Chocolate Milk Makes Me HAPPY!"

......OR SO AYDEN SAYS --- Wouldn't it be nice as we grow older if such small things would make us so happy? I guess I am like that (example: light bulb for my lamp --- Momma is probably the only one that understands this)....but, there are many people in the world who aren't.

So, Ayden is in this independence stage that may drive me a little crazy. "My do it first, My do it myself Mommy".......OH MY! He is trying to grow up too fast. Frustration strikes him pretty quickly as he tries to put on his shorts and is faced with both feet in the same hole. This seems like the most horrible thing in the world to him at the moment. He doesn't like to be defeated!

Something else he doesn't like is sand or dirt on his feet -- He has to have them cleaned very quickly if he comes in contact with any dirt. He won't even wear sandals or flip flops to school because of this. Not very boy like, huh? I think in time he will learn to love dirt as much as his Daddy.

So, we had an interesting weekend with me battling fevers of 101 and Ayden doing flips all through the living room. We pretty much needed an ambulance on standby in the front yard. Oh, wait a minute we have our own built-in paramedic. --- I am still mending, but Ayden faired OK even though his gymnastics kick makes all that are watching a little nervous.
