Decorating

In an effort to distract Ayden (he was upset because he had to layer his clothes) the other morning, MawMaw started talking to Ayden about Frosty the Snowman. She told him that Frosty comes to life when his hat is on his head. When the hat is off Frosty is not alive. Everytime Frosty wakes up due to his hat being placed on his head, he says Happy Birthday. MawMaw told Ayden that she was unsure why Frosty said that each time.

Ayden gave MawMaw a puzzling (duh) look and said....."MawMaw, that is because it is baby Jesus' birthday".

Now who knew that it would take a five-year-old kid to come up with that answer?! It warms me heart to know that Ayden knows the true reason for the season. On that note, I hope each of you are blessed with special memories this Christmas!
