Sometime when a child deserves a time out or other foprm of punishment daddy or mommy could suffer through it. Then explain that Jesus took our punishment for us so that we don't have to because he loves us. He took all of our sins upon himself and died. Then being God The Son, He arose from the grave and ascended into Heaven to prepare a place for us.
