Fall....

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.

This morning we woke to Autumn riding in on the back of a few hearty gusts of wind. The air seemed fresher, the temperatures happily dipping to a cool 70 and the trees in our backyard? Well, they danced in uniform celebration of the welcome guest....fall's cheerleaders twirling in victory.

Drooling over amazing fall treats on Food Network wasn't enough, even though dabbling in the art of nothingness completely was. We visited with friends and shared in togetherness, huddled and enjoyed tales while the kids had a dance showdown. We celebrated the ordinary!

But still, I need Ayden to remember the cool mornings that lead to wagons littered with bright orange pumpkins, scouring rows for the perfect size and shape....and dragging it home to open it up for a gooey mess that later becomes a sweet little face on the porch. So this week is the week of the great pumpkin search and a carving fiasco....

what more could I possibly be looking for?
