Toddler Olympics

Hello, Hola, and Ni Hao....welcome to the toddler Olympics. This is the rundown of the events.

First Event: Bubble Throwing Competition
Goal: To thoroughly soak the bathroom walls, floor, and Mommy.
Results: First Place—was a tie between Ayden and Makayla because there is absolutely no way I can determine who had the most fun on this event. There was way too much laughter.



Second Event: Reading Rumble in the Jungle
Goal: See who can read the book with the most sound effects
Results: 1st Place—Ayden, gladly made all the animal sounds without any help. 2nd Place – Makayla….she got stuck like a broken record…Once upon a time, Once upon a time, Once upon a time, Once upon a time, Once upon a time, Once upon a time

Water Break. Actually, it was milk, but who cares.

Third Event: Gymnastics
Goal: To not kill each other while simultaneously doing flips and rolling over and over and over
Results: Disqualified. False start by one of the contestants during every attempt. Good thing, or there probably would've been a few collisions.

Break: The goal during his break was to make it appear that they could walk in Daddy’s boots. They are still waiting for the drumroll, because guess what? I hid the drumsticks – isn’t that plain awful!

Fourth Event: Eating Snack
Goal: Seeing who could make the biggest mess
Results: Makayla gets first place on this one, as I think she wore more chocolate pudding than she ate.

Fifth Event: Superhero Costumes

Goal: See who can be the cutest superhero

Results: Major tie here folks! Who could possibly choose?

Final Event: Surprise from the Piano
Goal: See who can squeal the loudest when surprised.
Results: First place goes to Jacob on this one; as he definitely loves to squeal all the while saying, “That’s punny, Ayden silly”.

This concludes the Toddler Olympics. Overall, all the kids did fabulous! And now.....it is time for a nap :)..... Yeah, right!
