Cool Weather is Here (to stay?)

Cool weather is here hopefully to stay, however with our luck it will come and go a few more times before finally deciding to stay. Long pants, long sleeves, coat, and real shoes.....Ayden thinks I have to be kidding! I had to wrestle him to get his pants on this morning. This amounted to a ten minute struggle at least. This didn't keep him from marching right in school this morning and showing off his latest boo boo. Maybe the cool weather will get rid of these mean yellow jackets that we have swarming around. Three weekends in a row...someone has gotten stung. First Momma, then me, and at last Ayden.... Hopefully we are done now!

Ayden learned the art of the dirt pile on Saturday along with four neighbor kids. They had a blast bombing the ants on the dirt pile (per the older boys (Chase & Tristan), of course). Ayden only came out covered in dirt and with one ant bite. (Oh, yeah and ready to take a nap!) The nap didn't happen being it was 5pm, however he did fall fast asleep by 7pm.

Our old furry friend came out to visit this weekend as well. However, the hit of the weekend occurred on Sunday night when Mimi brought in the light "lasso". He was asking for it at 1am this morning. Mimi and Grandmommie thanks for the day brightener! Next time we need three please!
