SuperBaby (or is that Super Big Boy?)

Ayden loves to play superbaby -- we lift him up and he flies away or he puts on his cape and soars through the house. Good exercise routine for all of us (not to mention dancing with The Wiggles)! If anyone ever wants to come over and "Do the Monkey" Ayden will gladly teach you how. You can also dance with "Dorothy the Dinosaur" while you are here. Oh, what fun we have.

So, Saturday mornings normally are our mornings to wake up and pile in together in Mommy and Daddy's bed to hang out for a few minutes. This particular Saturday I was up doing laundry (no doubt from potty training), however Ayden and Daddy still had their bedtime. Ayden looked over at Chris and requested that he "talk to me" (me being Ayden of course). So, Chris asked Ayden what did he want to talk about. Ayden looked over at Chris (sorta like he was dumb) and calmly said....... I wanna talk about dogs. Thus, the conversation began....but, what else would a two-year old possibly want to talk about, but dogs. The things that come out of that child's mouth never end. Just when you think you have heard it all, he hits you with one more.

Of course the self-proclaimed "big boy" now has his very own "big boy bed". I really think he believes it is a trampoline. Of course, he has to sing "Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed" all the while. He slept in it all night and never got up or fell out ---- one night of success; we will just wait and see how long that lasts. The bad thing is that he has (in the past few weeks) figured out how to open the doors with regular knobs. Oh no, I sense chaos coming.............
